Floyd Mayweather – Conor McGregor will be registering plenty of frequent flyer miles next week to promote their next mega-fight on August 26.
The Floyd Mayweather – Conor McGregor World was announced Friday, which will feature four different press conferences in four cities for four consecutive days. On Thursday night, Staples Center in Los Angeles announced that it would be the starting place for the tour Tuesday afternoon. The pre-show will begin at 2:30 p.m. PST with the press conference from 3:00 p.m. PST.
The action will head north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Wednesday. The event will take place from the Sony Center for Performing Arts with the event starting at 6:00 p.m. ITS T.
On Thursday afternoon, the Floyd Mayweather – Conor McGregor World will head to Brooklyn, New York, while the Barclays Center will host the event. A pre-show will begin at 6:00 p.m. EST, with the live event starting at 7:00 p.m. ITS T.
The tour will conclude on Friday afternoon in London, England, emanating from the SSE Arena. A pre-show will begin at 6:00 p.m. BST (1:00 p.m. EST) with live event starting one hour later.
It will be an action-packed week to kick off the promotion of one of the greatest sporting spectacles of all time. The expected boxing match between 49-0 Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Conor McGregor will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 26. The event, along with the world of Mayweather Vs. McGregor Tour, will be promoted by Mayweather Promotions and will air on Showtime pay-per-view. McGregor will be making his professional debut in boxing, while Mayweather will seek to make history by breaking Rocky Marciano’s record to go 50-0.
The tour begins on Tuesday, July 11 in Los Angeles before visiting Toronto, Brooklyn and London
